Authentication via SMS (Text) Messaging

If you have not yet configured IBKR Mobile or received a Digital Security Card+, you can request an authentication code be sent to your mobile device via SMS (text) message. This code must be entered in the login window to complete the login process.

To setup SMS (text) messaging for your account:

  1. Click Settings > Communication > Mobile Number.

  2. The Configure and Confirm Mobile Numbers page appears.

  3. Click on the Edit icon (pencil) to enter your mobile number by selecting the phone type, country and number.

  4. To verify your mobile phone number, click Verify.

  5. A validation code will be sent to your mobile phone. Enter the confirmation code and click Continue.

  6. Click Continue to return to the Users Settings page.
